How to Write in Cursive on Instagram
Add cursive script to your Instagram bio and captions — step by step.
Instagram has no cursive option — but Unicode does
Instagram doesn’t include a cursive font setting. The flowing script you see in bios is copy-paste Unicode: special characters that look like cursive but are still plain text, so they display correctly when pasted into Instagram.
Step by step
Type your text into a cursive font generator, copy the script result, then in the Instagram app go to your profile → Edit Profile → tap the Bio (or Name) field and paste. Save, and your cursive text appears. For captions, paste it the same way in the caption box.
If some letters don’t show
A few cursive Unicode letters fall back to look-alikes, and very old devices may show empty boxes. If that happens, choose a widely-supported style or keep cursive for short accents (like your name) while keeping key words in plain text for readability and search.
FAQ
Can I make my Instagram username cursive?+
No — the @username only allows plain letters, numbers, periods and underscores. You can use cursive in the Name field and bio instead.
